I'm starting to think I need a schedule to remember to update my blog. Oh, well even if I could remember even the summer's been quite hectic. First I had to help my dad at school and then the next week I helped with VBS. All that ended yesterday so the first chance I got I got on to update today. In VBS I helped with the third graders. The theme this year was Backstage With The Bible. It was a cool theme created by a group called The Go Fish Guys. I've never heard of them before but they rocked! I'm setting up a link to their website and another link to an origami site called Waco Origami run by my friend Bryce. I just finished a long nap so I can't think much right now so I'm done. Bye

Birthday Party

Saturday was my birthday party. It was really great and I got lots of cool presents. My family gave me a cell phone, I got a watch from Grandmother and Papaw (my dad's side), Memaw (mom's side) gave me fifteen bucks in a check, Robert Clark, another one of my friends, gave me 10 bucks, and Bryce gave me a new DS game. The cell phone is really cool, it's got a mirror on the front with the display to but if I start listening to music then shut the phone the backward, pause and forward buttons pop up. The watch is also really cool, it's a analog instead of a digital but I can still read analog and its shiny and silver colored. The DS game is Mario Kart but I can only play on nonschool days. At the party we had all sorts of fun like when we were eating the kids sat in the living room and I set the Wii up so we could watch other people play Smash Brothers Brawl, later me, Bryce, and another friend named Robert Clark went outside to play, and before they left we played a bit of Smash Brothers. Some more facts

Hello again. If you know what yesterday was then you know that I am now 13 years old now. At school we took a TAKS test before and on my birthday so it wasn't one of the best but I did get a Blizzard from Dairy Queen. On Sunday my sister and I are having a piano recital at First Baptist Church of Waco. My sister is playing 2 songs and I'm playing at least 3 but I may play 4. Well that's all I can think of for now. Hello loyal readers

Hello again,
I know that I haven't written in a while but school is crazy if you ask me. Don't count on it but I may be able to write more often because in May we get every Monday off so we get three day weekends. A friend of mine has sign up for a website called Knol which, in my opinion is like a mix between blogs and Wikipedia. Like blogs they let the user type information in their own account and like Wikipedia because what they type is facts or opinions about the facts. My friend, Bryce, has written on three topics so I'm going to put up a link to the site. By the way it's a site run by Google so if you have a Google account you can post a comment. Some other information on band. Wednesday we went to a UIL Contest. We were judged on stage and in Sight-Reading, where you read and play the music for the first time, and are given a number, 1 through 5 where 1 is the best, based on how the band did. We got a one on stage and a two in Sight Reading. My dad read some comments written by the judges but I really don't remember what they said. Well I better go now.

Hello again, I think this is the shortest time in between notes.  Well I'm bored so I got on the computer and checked out Christina's blog and remembered some other stuff I probably should write down.  To start of this week I'm on spring break so I have a lot of time to play the Wii or something like that.  Friday, February 27th was Solo and Ensemble.  Solo and Ensemble is when band kids go to a school and play a solo or also an ensemble.  Both times a student plays a song selected by his or her band director (or in my case, my dad) and plays it for a judge.  I played 2 solos and 2 ensembles.  On solo I made a 1 and the other I made a 2 but both ensembles I was in made a 1 so I made three 1s and one 2.  That's all I can think of along with my mom so bye-bye.

Science Fair of 2009

Sorry I haven't written in a while it's just that when I think about it I don't have the time and when I do have the time I don't think about it. That being said here is what happened since my last note.

If you're a reader of my parents blog you know that Regional Science Fair is over and that I made second place in Computer Science. There were only 3 other people in my category so I had a pretty good chance. The kid who won made a robot straw simulator or something like that. He was testing the stability of certain robot designs with different kinds of software. My project was testing the effect different colored lights had on light sensors. The person who came in third place used a virus checker to see how many, if any, virus's where on your computer after you got on YouTube. I will be headed to San Antonio at the end of the month I believe along with about 8 other kids from McGregor. As I said last year the trophy is transparent so I can't get a good picture of it. As part of the prize for making it anyone who made it to state got the book Rocket Boys. Well that's all I have time for because we are about to leave to get pancakes in half and hour so bye.

Sorry I haven't written in a while. It's just that I have been pretty busy with school and such. Well while I'm thinking about it let me tell you of some new things in my life. At First Baptist Woodway I'm in the youth group and it is real fun. Last week we went on this thing that they call Hoop-Dee-Doo and it was fun. Hoop-Dee-Doo is when the Jr Highers go skating, bowling, to the theaters, and eat pizza and it started at 10:30pm and ended at 7:30 am so we were up all night. Also at my church we got a new building with a gym, a party room, and more.
That's it there but that isn't all. I don't know why but I've become interested in my family genealogy and if you can suggest anything like websites or stuff like that it will be great. Now I am done. Bye.

4th OF JULY AND MORE

Hello again. I've got some more news. For one thing while my parents and siblings are back in Waco, I'm still in Paris. They left Monday while I hid in the closet. Okay, not really. They did say that I could stay here for a while but I don't know when I am leaving. Now to the 4th. It was awesome especially the fireworks. They are always my favorite part. My favorites were the ones were the ones that my family did. We had two types of spaceship that flew up in the air and spun at the same time. My cousin, Larry Lee, brought some classic fireworks. We also had some fireworks called Trees that started like a fountain then started flashing. There is more but I'm be typing all day if I named all of them.

A NEW SISTER

If you look at the title you may think that I'm getting a new sister. I am but a not a physical sister but a spiritual sister. If you tried to guess here is the answer, MY SISTER IS A CHRISTIAN. Yes you read right, Elizabeth is a Christian. She became a Christian 6/12/08. She is to shy to tell anyone so I took the librety of telling everyone. She became a Christian during VBS at our church. These next couple of words are from my sister. "It felt weird". She may be my silly sister but not anymore, now she is my silly christian sister.

STATE SCIENCE FAIR HAS COME & GONE

I have more notes to write down about me. First off, State Science Fair. It was cool, we stayed in a hotel called the Staybridge Hotel. The Staybridge has a breakfast bar, which is what I really wanted, a pool, and a TV in the bedroom. The building where the Science Fair was held was a convention center and technically all we did was sit in a room for a long time for stuff like paper work, judging. One of the kids in our school, a girl named Whitney Russel, had to have her board moved and that's about it. That was the first two days, the third day we waited during public viewing and then we went in for awards which started with someone giving a speech. After that we packed up and headed home. Well, not all of us. Some stayed and went to eat, then we all went home. That's it for Science Fair. Now for other notes (because something had to have happened between April 11 and now). Well for starters I am not an eleven year old note taker I am a twelve, or 12, or XII year old note taker. My Birthday was April 29 (4-29) and that's that. More later. BYE

NOTES IN PARIS, (Texas)

Right now I'm in Paris, Texas at my mema's (or my grandmother on my mom's side) house. My parents and brother are on their way home, or all ready there, but me and my sister are staying here. Again, I am staying with my mema and my sister is staying with our cousin Kami, so any relatives who haven't seen me or my sister ,yet we will be here until Saturday. 

 Some other things happened before we came to Paris like at my R.A. camp I caught a Bluegill Perch and a Black Bass. My friend's dad said that the Perch I caught was one of the biggest Perch he has seen. Well, that's it. Bye.

MORE ON SCIENCE FAIR

I have some more things to write in my notebook. First the trophy. It's transparent so it'll take awhile to get a picture of it. It doesn't show up well. Now, the science fair. I am going to the state science fair in San Antonio and I'm spending the night there, but states not until April 10th through 12th. Yes my mom did get some pics but they're not developed. That's it. POWER SOURCE, 2nd place

Well seeing how some of you are wanting to know how science went (thanks to my mom) I'll tell you seeing how it is something to write about. I made second place in my category witch was Physics + Astronomy. Yesterday was the judging witch took awhile to get to. I was nervous during the judging and bored because it took so long (oh well, there were a bunch of projects). You're probably wondering why these notes are named POWER SOURCE. That was the name of my project POWER SOURCE. But like every important event some funny things happened like, they almost forgot my category, my mom went wild when my name was called, and they mispronounced some names. Well, that covers it, bye.

SCHOOL AND OTHERS

Sorry I haven't been writing for a while but I've been in school so I haven't been able to do anything yet. I'm working on science fair so I probably won't write any for a while ( I'm 11 years old, ok). On to other notes. If you are faithful to my parents blog you should know that I got the part in a play that my dad wrote, JAM New Kid On The Block (it's a pretty good one too). Anyway I got the part of Jake, the new kid and the "lead" character. I don't really know the address to our church but the name of our church is First Baptist Woodway and the date is May 4th. Back to school. In my S.S. (social studies) class we're working on finding interesting facts for European countries. I got the Czech Republic. So for I've found out that it has a church that houses a chandler made of human bones, kinda creepy don't you think. That pretty much is it. Bye.

BRACE NOT CAST

Sorry I haven't written in a while, so many exciting things have happened one after another that it hasn't left me time to write. Your probably wondering about my arm. Well, instead of a cast I got a brace. I'll try to get a photo of me with my brace on. Just for fun (and to keep me out of bed :P) I'll tell you what kept me busy. There was V.B.S. at our church and my grandparents church, there was going to the doctor about my arm and now there is Summershine. That's it. Good night. I'm going to bed now.

IT'S THE BEGINNING

Hi my name PATRICK and this is my notebook. Right now my right arm is broken so it is hard to right (more on it later). I live in a family of five and I'm new to this, so post all you think. Back to the arm. How I broke my arm is I was playing with a friend's skateboard on the last day of school and I jumped on it while it was moving and it slid out from under me then I fell and broke my arm. Soon I'll have a cast and I'll write about it when I do. ;)
